In offset printing, you’ll get the brightest ink colors on the brightest paper. Paper brightness is a measure of how much blue light a paper reflects. Since the colors we see are a result of white light passing through transparent ink films, striking the paper, and reflecting back through the ink film to our eyes, the more light a paper reflects, the more light will reach the viewer’s eyes.
